Northtowns Veterinary Emergency Services offers many services in a critical care setting. Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, our own in-house laboratory for faster results, emergency surgery, and a ICU unit for critical care cases that require hospitalization. Our emergency veterinarians will evaluate, diagnose and treat your pet accordingly. We treat all sick and injured pets.

What is considered an emergency?

•  Hit By Car/Injuries by falls
•  Breathing Difficulties
•  Heat Stroke
•  Head Injury
•  Bite Wounds
•  Poison Toxicity
•  Straining to Urinate
•  Seizures
•  Loss of Appetite
•  Rapid Weight Loss
•  Laceration
•  Bloat/Distended Abdomen

Rest assured that even if your pet is having a non life threatening emergency and shows signs of sickness, you can still bring him to our hospital. There can be times that your dog or cat need to have immediate medical care.

These are symptoms of non life threatening:

•  Lameness
•  Lethargy
•  Diarrhea
•  Vomiting
•  Hives/excessive scratching
•  Head shaking- poss ear infection
